We realise you might have a lot of questions about the Frenchie Fest, so have attempted to answer as many questions as possible below. If your question isn’t answered here please contact us.

Can I turn up to Frenchie Fest on the day without an advance ticket?

No, the event is advanced ticket only and has now sold out. The venue and area has a strict capacity as set by the venue owners which we have now reached. If you don’t have a ticket, please don’t come as we will not be able to let you into the meet-up.

Do I have to own a French Bulldog to come to the Frenchie Fest?

No, you don’t have to own a French Bulldog. If you simply love Frenchies and want to see them having fun at the biggest Frenchie meet-up the New Forest has ever seen, feel free to buy a ticket and come long.

Can I bring a dog that is not a French Bulldog?

This is a Frenchie meet-up so we do ask that it’s just French Bulldogs that attend. However, there is an exception to this: If you have an another dog in your Frenchie family who is not a Frenchie, then of course, do bring them along so that they don’t miss out on the fun with their buddy.

What if the weather is too hot or the sun too bright?

As responsible French Bulldog owners, we know that this breed does not cope well in hot weather. This is why we’ve deliberately chosen the latest date in September that we could. There will be shaded areas available, water stations, padding pools, and the Exbury Club is open and Frenchie-friendly so you can also take them indoors as often and for as long as you wish to.

We will do our best to mitigate the impact of hot weather, however it is the owner’s responsibility to ensure their dog is not put at any unnecessary risk.

Are dogs allowed “off-lead”?

Your Frenchie is only allowed off-lead in designated areas or when taking part in a managed activity such as the ones on the meet-up schedule. Please keep your dog on a lead at all times. You know what Frenchies are like! It could get very chaotic if they are allowed off-lead on the field.

There will be dog poo bins set up around the site, so please dispose of your dog poo bags responsibly.

Is the meet-up wheelchair friendly and accessible?

The room in Exbury Club can be accessed by wheelchair ramps. The meet-up will be focussed on the fields next to the Club. If there has been rain, then it is possible that the grass could be harder to navigate.

What is the refund policy on tickets?

Tickets are non-refundable unless the meet-up is cancelled. In the event of a cancellation, our ticketing system provider will issue refunds back to the card you paid with.

What happens if it is raining on the day?

If it happens to rain, then we will continue to hold as much of the meet-up outdoors as possible.

What are the times of the meet-up?

The gates open at 11am, and will finish up at 3pm, so that’s four hours of pure fun as our Frenchie friends get to meet up if you decide to come from the start and stay all day. Please note, The Family Dog Club sessions are on in the morning, then repeated in the afternoon. See the schedule for more details.

Do I need to pay for parking?

No, parking is free on-site. Please be aware that parking is not permitted on the hard standing. Parking will be allocate and managed on the field, unless you have a disabled badge.

Please do not park anywhere in the village. All visitors must drive into the club drive and then be allocated a parking spot on the field by our parking attendants.

Can I buy tickets on the day?

No, tickets are on advance sale only as we have a capacity we need to stick to.

Can I come in and out of the Frenchie meet-up?

Yes, of course. If you’d like to take a walk around Exbury village, or perhaps pop off for a while, you are more than welcome to. Just tell us at the gate and we will see you again later in the day.

Can we bring our own food and drink?

Yes, you can bring food. But only drinks purchased from Exbury Club may be consumed on the premises. If you want to bring your own picnic blankets, chairs and tables and food please do. But we do politely ask is that you don’t bring drinks, but instead support the Exbury Club bar which sells a wide range of refreshments including alcoholic drinks.

Bringing your own alcohol or glass bottles is not permitted  The club has a bar.

Are there any arrangements for first aid?

Yes, there is a first aid station in one of the function rooms of the Club.

Is there anything else we need to know?

We politely ask that you arrive and leave to please be respectful of our neighbours. The entrance to Exbury Club is close to residential areas.
